The Esquilino (or the Esquiline Hill) is a landmark in Rome. That is one of the celebrated seven hills of rome. The Roman Emperor Trajan constructed his bath complex on the Esquilino Hill, which is still visible today.[1]

The southern most of the Seven Hills of Rome, Esquilino was another fashionable residential district. In a demonstration of humility and graciousness, Nero confiscated property here to built his opulent Golden House which was, to put it mildly, excessive.[1]
