The Esquilino is a location in Rome. It is the southern most of the seven hills in Rome, and is known as quite a fashionable residential district. In a demonstration of humility and graciousness, Nero confiscated property here to build his Golden Palace. Later the Roman Emperor Trajan constructed his bath complex on the Esquilino Hill which is still visible today.
