Emerald
Emerald is a precious stone of green coloring. It is traditionally been considered precious above all others, together with amethyst, sapphire, ruby, and diamond.
History
During the Reconquista, the Spanish Brotherhood of Assassins used emerald in order to create various weapons, accessories and pieces of armor.[1]
Among the many treasures collected by pirate Alonzo Batilla figured a pendant from the Spanish galleon San José, an Aztec emerald, an emerald gold pin and a clover.[2]
