The Einherjar, also called the Swellers of Glory,[1] are those who have died in battle and are brought to Valhalla by Valkyries in Norse mythology.

Legacy

During the Viking expansion into England, a set of armor inspired by the Einherjar was made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories.[2]
