The Eight Tigers were a powerful group of Templar eunuchs that controlled the Chinese imperial court during the reign of the Ming dynasty Zhengde Emperor.[1]

After Zhengde was succeeded by the puppet Jiajing Emperor, the Templars manipulated him into initiating a purge of the Chinese Assassin Brotherhood.[2] After Shao Jun returned to China to rebuild her Brotherhood, she began exacting revenge on the Tigers. In retaliation for her killing their top-raking comrades, the Tigers set the burning port of Macau ablaze.[1]
