Eivor wearing the Egyptian Armor Set with the cloak

The Egyptian Armor Set was a set of armor, which originated from Egypt, Africa, forged by the people of Al-Qata'i.

Between 879 and 882, the Viking jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan obtained pieces of the armor through trading with the Islamic emir, Ahmad ibn Tulun, during her stay in Dublin, Ireland.[1]
