The Al-Mi'dhana Al-'Ateeqa was a small mosque in Baghdad, located in the Sharqiyah sub-district of Karkh.
In the 860s, the Hidden One Basim came across a crowd of children surrounding the mosque, looking up to a young boy standing near the edge of a tower's platform. Heading up to investigate, Basim spoke to the boy named Hytham, who idolized the Hidden Ones for they were the ones who avenged his mother and not the caliph and his men, which led him to idolized and see them as the protector of the people. Hytham heard of their traditional dive called the Leap of Faith but was unable follow their move for he had not seen one do it in front of him. Basim volunteered to demonstrate and dived into the cart of haystack below, inspiring Hytham to follow as well. After getting out of the cart unharmed, Hytham realized that Basim one of the Hidden Ones he had revered, which led Basim to offer the boy the chance to seek him out once he was older in his late teenage years.[1]
