Akrokorinth was the acropolis of the polis Korinth located in Korinthia, Greece. The site was known for it's Temple of Aphrodite (Korinth) that was home to the famous hetaera.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan, misthios, Kassandra, visited the acropolis in search of information about her mother's whereabouts.[1]
