The Akousmatikoi Cave is a cave located northwest of the Heraion on the Greek island of Samos.
During the Peloponnesian War, the cave served as a hideout for the Followers of Ares, who worshipped the Greek god of war there. The Spartan misthios, Kassandra, eliminating the Followers of Ares and looted their valuables.[1]
