"Ravaging the poor districts of Rome, Malfatto preys on those unfortunate enough to be caught unaware."
―Ubisoft Description

The Doctor (real name: Malfatto) is a multiplayer character in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, who uses a syringe as his primary weapon.

His outfit highly resembles the ones worn by doctors during the plague, and appears black in the dark. He wears a tricorne hat and his face is concealed by a mask, therefore making his true identity unknown. His outfit is different from what the doctors wear in Assassin's Creed II, most noticeably due to the slightly shorter beak of his mask.

He makes an appearance in the single player mode of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood in a main storyline mission, as opposed to several other multiplayer characters, who appear in Templar Agent side missions.

Unique Moves

Swift Syringe (Low Profile, Back)

The Doctor creeps up on his target from behind before swiftly thrusting his syringe downward into their shoulder, injecting poison into his victim in the process. While his target is left oblivious, the Doctor removes his syringe, letting the toxins spread rapidly through his victim's system, until they collapse to the ground and die silently.

Deadly Serum (Low Profile, Front)

The Doctor casually walks towards his target before thrusting his syringe into his victim's neck. After removing his syringe, his target falls to the ground, dying from the puncture wound and blood loss.

The Eye Transplant (High Profile, Front)

The Doctor charges towards his target, forcing them onto their back. With his victim helpless, he then injects his syringe through his target's eye and into their brain, causing instant death. The Doctor then twists his syringe, before pulling it out and storing it at his waist.

Cardiac Arrest (High Profile, Back)

The Doctor stabs his syringe into his target's back, the needle passing their ribcage and piercing his victim's heart. The tip of the syringe can be seen out of his target's chest as their heart fails, before the Doctor removes his weapon and gently pushes their dead body to the floor.

No Rest for the Wicked (Bench Kill)

The Doctor walks in front of his seated target and viciously stabs his syringe into their neck, before they have the chance to react. He then brutally yanks out the needle of his weapon and throws his victim's body from the bench with force.

Bird of Prey (Aerial Kill)

The Doctor leaps from above a rooftop, onto his target, before taking out his syringe and viciously thrusting it into his victim's neck. Finally, he yanks the needle out and leaves his target dying silently.
