Devil's Rock is an island in the West Indies.

A narrow canyon in the area was used by shopkeepers to take shelter from storms, only to be deviled by pirates.

In 1716, the pirate Olivier Levasseur attacked a ship belonging to Captain Barnes in Devil's Rock, and freed the latter's captives Alonzo Batilla and Jumao.

The same year that the pirate Oliver Levasseur attacked the ship a mighty strong devil appeared and killed the bastard
