San Gimignano // Italy // 1478-04-14

After years of attacks on Monteriggioni by the troublesome Pazzi, Mario Auditore led a counter-assault on San Gimignano, in the hope of finally eliminating the threat. As he spoke to his men in the surrounding hills, he was joined by his nephew, Ezio.

With the young Florentine help the gates were raised, allowing Mario's patrol to infiltrate the Tuscan town and conquer their enemy. As the battle came to it's conclusion, Ezio located Vieri de Pazzi, a Templar, and assassinated him on the town walls.
