The village of Evreux took the religious fanaticism afflicting wider Evresin and rolled it into a tight little hamlet of acute existential anxiety. Home to an unusual concentration of clergy, dark rumors proliferated of mutilated corpses, bodies strung from trees, and macabre exorcisms. On a brighter note, the flora was quite lovely.
