Daniel Cross is the protagonist of Assassin's Creed: The Fall, a comic-book series set in the Russian Revolution.

Biography

Daniel Cross, who was an ex-convict, recovering drug addict and alcoholic had been experiencing painfully realistic 'visions' from a past life for an undetermined ammount of time, and as he didn't know how to control these 'visions', he went crazy and soon found himself sitting in a psychiatrist's office.

Some time later, he was contacted by the modern day Order of Assassins, who told him that he was suffering from the "bleeding effect" and was thus viewing the memories of one of his ancestors: the Assassin Nikolai Orlov. As both the Assassin Order and Daniel himself were curious about his ancestor's memories (namely what happened in the Tunguska event, Daniel was put in an Animus to find out more about them.

Trivia

  • His first name "Daniel" means "Judgment of God" or "God's Judgment" in Hebrew.
  • It has been revealed by the developers of the comic that Daniel will play a "significant role" in the life of the Assassin Desmond Miles.
