Daniel Cross

Daniel Cross was an Animus subject and a descendant of the Assassin Nikolai Orelov. He is a recovering drug addict and alcoholic, who is first seen in the comic in a psychiatrist's office.

Daniel may in fact be the as of yet unnamed Subject 16, as a very curious hint has been given by one of the comic's artists:

"Without saying too much, the Daniel character plays a very significant role in the two existing games, where they are currently. This is almost like a lead-in to those, so he has a very significant role."
