Dagger of Messara
The Dagger of Messara was a dagger forged in Messara on the Greek island of Krete. It was notably used by the locals to cut down pesky olives out of trees.
During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra obtained the dagger after attempting to help a man bring the woman he loved to safety.[1]
