Crossbowman
Crossbowmen are guards armed with crossbows. They patrol and defend the rooftops similar to the archers. They are featured in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Crossbowmen will also use their prime weapon for melee combat if Ezio gets to close and can and will still fire to bolt from their crossbow at Ezio even at close range.
Crossbowmen can be an annoyance when encountered in groups, as they will hinder rooftop travel by firing fast-moving crossbow bolts at you, causing you to fall and take damage.
