The Ceremonial Khopesh was a khopesh originating from Egypt. It's hilt featured a golden serpent that snakes its way down the blade, symbolizing rebirth.

During the 5th century BCE, the khopesh made it's way to Greece, where it was sold by blacksmiths.[1]
