The Centro district (English: Centre district) is one of the four districts in Rome. During the Renaissance the Centro district, like the Antico and Campagna districts, became decrepit under the Borgia influence as the majority of the shops were closed down. Five Borgia towers ruled over the Centro district guarded by a single Borgia captain. By 1503 Ezio Auditore had burned down all of the Borgia towers as well as re-opening most of the shops and reestablished the Courtesans and the Rosa in Fiore to aid him in his war against the Borgia.

The Centro district is the home of famous Roman landmarks such as the Pantheon and the Campidoglio, it is also were Tiber Island is located, the Assassin's stronghold.
