Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco, as well as its economic center. [citation needed]

History

In the early 18th century, the Welsh pirate Edward Kenway provided Casablanca's taverns with wine and tobacco after they ran out of the precious recreational drugs.[1] He also traded olive oil and rice with Casablanca's market.[2]
