Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco, as well as its economic center.

History

In the early 18th century, Welsh pirate Edward Kenway provided Casablanca's taverns with wine and tobacco after they ran out of the precious drink.[1] He also traded olive oil and rice with Casablanca's market.[2]
