Adelaïde
Adelaïde was a Hidden One active during the 9th century who was tasked to refound the Lunden bureau built during the Roman Empire era.
At some point, Hytham of Ravensthorpe sent two young men full of potential, Niels and Edward, to Lunden. Adelaide began to train the two young men in the Hidden Ones ways while investigating the disappearance of Edward's brother, Ecbert.
Eventually, the Hidden One and her two pupils travelled to the Kingdom of Alba, where a christian sect was using the Codex of Eden power to convert the local population. They destroyed the cult by flooding the Loch Ness Temple, an Isu complex which was used by the zealots as their headquarter. However, as she tried to recover the codex, Adelaide killed Ecbert, who was sent by King Alfred to infiltrate the christian cult. An enraged Edward assaulted his mentor, and she fell to her death after a quick brawl, shattering the Codex in the process. After Adelaïde death, Edward followed in his brother footstep by joining Alfred's cause while Niels declined Hytham's offer to join the Brotherhood.
