Captain's Gauntlets

The Captain's Gauntlets were gauntlets worn by many Greek captains during the 5th century BCE. The fact that these were more a status symbol than actual armor didn't lessen their appeal.
The gauntlets were obtained by the Spartan misthios Kassandra as she took them from the corpse of a captain Glaukos had tasked her to kill, on the apparent orders of Diona, a priestess of Aphrodite, who in reality was a member of the Worshippers of the Bloodline branch of the Cult of Kosmos.[1]
