Calicut (Malayalam: കാലിക്കറ്റ്‌) is a city in the state of Kerala, India. During the Renaissance, a guild of the Assassin Order was based in the city and received aid from Ezio Auditore da Firenze's Italian guild for several important assassinations.

Trivia

  • This city was known as "City of Spices" and was a major trading port discovered by Vasco da Gama on May 20th 1498.
  • Calicut ranked as the second best city in India to reside in.
  • Calcut's real name is Kozhikode which means 'Fortified Palace'.
