Brother Lion was an elderly Greek man who lived with a pack of lions on Epidaurus, Argolis in 4th century BCE.

Around 429 BCE, he became severely ill and his family of lions began attacking the public to garner food for him. Brother Lion was soon visited by the misthios Kassandra, who was told the reason behind the lion attacks. Within their conservation, Brother Lion told her of his sickness as Kassandra ultimately decided on both his fate and his family of lions.[1]
