Beroe was a Greek woman from the village of Lalaia in Phokis, Greece who lived during the 5th century BCE.

After her husband, along with the rest of the men in village, were killed by the Sons of Xerxes, Beroe was one of the woman who took up arms and train to defend themselves against the Persians.[1]
