Battle of Gibeon Blade

The Battle of Gibeon Blade was a khopesh originally used as a sickle for agriculture. It later evolved and was used by pharaoh Shoshenq I's infantry during the invasion of Gibeon. By the 1st century BCE, the khopesh could be purchased from blacksmiths or looted across Egypt.

Trivia

• The khopesh's design is exactly identical to the Khopesh Sword. However, the description for the latter implies that weapon design was adapted from this particular khopesh.
