All those ideas do sound good, but the Assassins & Templars are neither good nor evil, so those terms should be used lightly. I do understand how you didn't mean it literally, hence the speech marks, but you could have just said that they are portrayed as "bad guys".

Sorry for going on a bit; I get very OCD when I read stuff like that :)
