Realistic? Ok then. How about Desmond has to remain hidden or the mission fails. Or, if you want a better idea, have Desmon wear a bullet proof vest of some sorts & make it like Arkham City. If Desmond gets caught you can either try & face them head on or throw a smoke pellet & escape. If Batman can do it AC can too!
