I agree. I think the Animus has negative side effects that they don't know how to treat (the insanity, suicide) or at least amplifies the bleeding effect. The one that Ezio has seems to be a less aggressive form that can be mastered and used for advantage. The misuse of pwer always leads to grave mistakes.
