Is it possible that Absergo only called Daniel Cross Subject 4 for that project? And that when he returned he was renamed Subject 16, seeing as the other project was complete? Maybe Ubi was trying to put us off the Daniel Cross=Subject 16 scent by naming him Subject 4 in The Fall...
