I'm flattered, certainly, thank you. :) Another thing I look at is this: Yes peace is in a lot of cases a bit irrelevant. We don't need peace to survive, not really, so what is it's purpose of fighting for it? A major point to that is, think of what we could do if we never had to worry about war? We could focus, all attention on technological advances, rather than weapons, and wartime refuse. And another thing, with the power of the Apple, and the Pieces of Eden, who is to say we have to completely control mankind? Perhaps, we could simply suppress the part of our genetic code that causes conflicts to get out of hand. What I mean is, not suppress conflict as a whole, as without conflict we could not debate things and thus could never effectively learn, but merely affect Man's coding, so that we do not feel the need to defend ourselves in violent ways. If that makes sense. We would still defend ourselves, yes, but not through killing and such. The possibilities are endless... And hell, by only making that single change, who is to say we couldn't make it with the public's consent even? Most people would see it as a very good thing, I believe. To simply sacrifice your overly protective nature of both yourself and others, and thus making relative, if not complete peace. And this is why I feel the Templars speak of and ask for guidance from their "Father of Understanding". It is an allegory, of which they pray that mankind can look at their goals and the means of which they use, and understand them as they do: Not acts of violence and tyranny, but a necessary thing, for the overall good of the World and of Humanity. And just to clear up, when I say that you suppress the defensive coding, I do not mean that, when threatened by a wild animal you stand there and get mauled to death. I mean that instead of immediately leaping to kill the beast, you try to make peace with it, or otherwise, simply pacify it, rather than kill it.
