SPOILERS.................
Altair and Ezio had tragic lives as well but I feel like Connor's had a big impact. Altair and Ezio lost their family (ie: Altair lost his wife, son, and dad while Ezio lost his bro's, dad, and uncle), but they all lost their loved ones to their enemies. However, the tragic events in Connor's life are in a way part of his own doing, accidently. He had to kill his best friend, know that an ally of his indirectly killed his mother, and he had to kill his father to protect his people and allies. For me, a tragedy is a situation where you have to pick between two choices, in which both are undesirable choices, but have good intentions. To me, Connor represents my definition of tragedy more than Altair or Ezio.
