I get Kain's point but it's also to do with balance. I can shell out 40 quid for a game and opt out of the night at the pub that that roughly translates too but I can't afford nearly 400 quid for a new console which translates to a good 8 weeks of food (or 10 great nights out at the pub!). I reckon I'm not alone either. Yes they want people moving to next gen as soon as possible but given the larger economic factors going on at the mo (I'm boring myself now) I reckon it's best to keep us last-genners in play just a little longer. I would buy ACV (be it comet or whatever) I cannot buy a console to buy the game at the mo.

That said I think it would be a big mistake to release Unity for last gen - the game looks stunning and impressive, condensing it for 360/ps3 would only harm it. Did everyone have a PSvita for liberation? Did everyone have a DS for the Altair games? This wouldn't be the first time they have diverged
