When you think about it, "WE" went thorough all that crap just to find out "Oh Abstergo wont be able to find him, were good. Also hope you enjoy running for your life now." If we are supposed to be the main character, I like to think that the player would be kind of mad to join a secret orginaization just to find out they didnt have to do anything in the first place.
