This article is about the Egyptian detification of the hamadryas baboons. You may be looking for Baba, an Egyptian worker from Letopolis.

Baba is an ancient Egyptian detification of the hamadryas baboon, considered as a god of the Duat. As a first-born son of Osiris, Baba was viewed as a devourer of the unrighteous souls whose heart weighed heavy against Maat.

In the 1st century BCE, a statue of Baba was erected in the Adorer of Thoth Tomb, where bandits had made their camp in. During the same timeframe, a bow with his motif was used by the Medjay turned Hidden One Bayek.
