I think that those icebergs are in this trailer mainly to show people what's new in the game,like you'be able to sail your ship trough icebergs in snowstorms,you know to get people excited.And those trailers can be misleading.For instance take Black Flag trailer where Blackbeard speaks of Edward.Basically everything in that trailer is not featured in the real game, or at least not in the way in was present at first.
