Crook, the idea i got from the paintings is that they show the history of the precussors when they decided to colonize earth and shapped earth with the temples/roots of eden/tree of eden, from a POV of native americans: Great God rainy cloud shapped life and told little dancing spirit, shape this thing that rests under our feet."

Maybe i'm wrong, because there's too much to explain, why do they actually exist in a way that can be easily destroyed and why there's is a box telling where we can destroy everything.
