Yes and uh... No. It may escalate to bigger and more interesting things later but it's foundation is so badly ruined that it made people frustating. Narrow-mind? Just because you can't accept the truth that Arno's story so horrible or just choose to ignore it, doesn't mean everyone who hate it, can't see past that point.

Sure, let us continue the story but not with this guy pls, especially not with him staying as an Assassin for the Creed. If they were to go with this plot, they better think twice, because those undeniable mistakes they did with Unity could cost AC franschise it's soul. "Decent" is a right word but not here, especially not with Unity since it ditched almost all the things that made AC poular as it is now. Take part in Historical Event, Templar vs Assasins and it's protagonist own story.
