It seems like Unity is like the Assassin's Creed I parallel where the Modern Day Protagonists like Desmond and the Initiate meet Lucy and Bishop and they learn the secret war between Assassins and Templars. Syndicate is like Assassin's Creed II where the Isu Minerva and Juno appeared in the story line and they are very important to the Modern Day story. Assassin's Creed (2016) game is probably like Assassin's Creed III, Revelations, or Brotherhood something big is going to happen in the story and hopefully a Modern Day gameplay from the Initiate this time. I could see they are planning this way and I hope the rumor is wrong.
