- "We rarely are."
- ―Ezio Auditore, on how ready we are for death
Prefrences
Assassin's or Templars?
Look at my profile. Do you really need to ask?
Weapons
AC1
- Overall Favorite: Upgraded short sword (acquired at Rank 9)
- Most used: Short Blade/Throwing Knives
AC2
- Most used: Hidden blades
- Sword: Captain's sword, then Altair's sword
- Short Sword/Dagger: Sultan's Knife
- Hammer/Mace: Condottiero War Hammer, even though I never use it
- Gun or Throwing Knives: Gun
Characters
- Altair is my overall favorite character, because of his epicness as well as his significance
- Ezio is pretty awesome, so I like playing as him
- Bartolomeo gets some really funny dialouge
- La Volpe is pretty cool
- Claudia turned awesome in Brotherhood
- Mario was cool, I was sad when he died
- Antonio and Rosa were good characters
- I thought Lucy was cool, and then I played the Lost Archive
Assassin's Creed
Game Opinions
Positive
- Altair is a badass
- Storyline is quite interesting
- It certainly has a unique feel, and it's nice to go back to that after playing AC2 and Brotherhood
- Nice getting a random knife kill when using the short sword
- Jerusalem is my favorite (large) city, Acre close behind, then Damascus
- When the nine targets popped back up durng the fight with Al Mualim, I thought they'd be a lot harder. Plesant surprise
- I liked seeing Malik's change in attitude towards Altair
Negative
- Beggars, drunks, insane people, and harassers in general need to DIE! I HATE getting shoved into a guard or getting my cover blown and then getting chased across the city!
- The missions do start getting a bit repetitive after a bit, and it starts to feel a bit like a chore to get the perfect sync on every mission
- Damn it Robert just die already! And stop being such a pansy waiting in the background while I fight off twenty guys. Face me like a man
- Guards sure can be touchy. I just bumped into you, no need to pull out your sword and try to kill me
Assassin's Creed II
Game Opinions
Positive
- A lot of the dialouge is pretty funny
- Hidden Gun is sweet
- New swords/knives/hammers/stuff along those lines is for the most part pretty cool
- Captain's sword and Sword of Altair are my favorites
- I can get rid of minstrel's without losing sync :D
- Missaglias armor looks pretty awesome
- Armor of Altair is even awesomer (yes, I said awesomer)
- Venice rules. 50/50 shot of landing in water after a long fall
- Iltani, you have a fun tomb
- Lucy, you look pretty good in this game
- Rebecca, you're entertaining
Negative
- Minstrels
- Borgia, I've stabbed you and choked you, won't you just DIE ALREADY!?
- Why am I the only one at the Doge's carnivale party with a golden mask?
- Amunet, you have an annoying tomb
- Where the hell is that last feather?
- Shawn, stop being such a prick
Neutral
- Wow, Carlotta sure did get screwed
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
E3 Trailer Opinions
- Assassin with the club/mask/stripey pants is the coolest (aside from Ezio)
- Badass moment: Nine guys suddenly dropping dead from a simple nod
- Guards need better armor
- 12 Papal Guards/Cesare vs 5 Assassin's = overkill (guess which way)
Game Opinions
Positive
- I really do enjoy the Assassin Apprentice aspect. It's so satisfying seeing them level up or reach rank 10
- Love getting a long killstreak. Makes you feel like a badass
- Parachutes are quite helpful. When I remember to use them
- Christina missions give an interesting aspect to the story. Just wish she didn't die in the end
- While I don't like the Armor of Brutus (see below), the dagger is pretty awesome.
- It's enjoyable intereacting with the different guilds
- Dialouge is as good as ever
- Keeping up the tradition of "wtf just happened!?" endings
Negative
- Traversing Rome can be a bit of a bitch
- Damn, Brutes got tougher. I can't just disarm them first try
- Shop Quests. I'm a customer, not an errand boy
- Damn Borgia Captains running away, making me wait for the shifts to change
- All that work getting the Armor of Brutus and I don't really like it. Armor of Altair was awesome but Brutus just doesn't work for me. Especially the fur pauldron bit
- I think the Glyphs are more fun than the Rifts. Easier to figure out too. Also that voice that says "Loading" gets REALLY annoying REALLY fast
- I have a TIME LIMIT when I go outside!? That makes me panic when I go out!
- Where the hell did Lucy go? She's not in the Sanctuary and I can't find her anywhere in Monteriggioni
- I had more fun with the Assassin Tombs than the Followers of Romulus Lairs
- The requirments for most of the 100% sych's aren't bad, but some are just frustrating. Be cool if you could see how Ezio did it and then try and copy that (like if your having a lot of trouble with it)
- Geez Cesare how much armor do you need around your neck?
Neutral
- Not sure if I like Ezio's new outfit more or less than the old one. Certainly not a bad design though
- War Machine Missions. Fun some of the time, annoying during other bits
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Game Opinions
Positive
- Glad to see the return of the assassin apprentices. I also like how they seem to play a larger role in this game.
- While I don't particularly like the look of the hookblade, I very much enjoy how useful it is.
- So glad they got rid of shop quests.
- Story was still captivating.
- It was fun going back to play Altair every now and then, and nice to see his story.
- I like the story aspect of Desmond's Journey and The Lost Archive.
- Yusuf was a thoroughly entertaining character. I couldn't believe he died.
- The Prince's Banquet: I have become that which I hate most. Oh the irony.
- The twist with Tarik was cool. Felt so bad when I killed him.
Negative
- Janissaries. They don't look intimidating or badass at all, but they are dammed hard to kill.
- The Master Assassin armor and Armor of Ishak Pasha are ok, but they still didn't really do much for me. It feels like the "best armor" has been on a downward trend.
- I didn't really like the changes they made to Altair (appearance, voice, lack of short sword again). It made me feel like I was playing as a completely different character.
- I didn't enjoy the gameplay of Desmond's Journey and The Lost Archive. It was kind of awkward and felt out of place.
- This isn't such a bad thing, but it kind of threw me when Yusuf's kijil had higher stats than Altair's sword.
Neutral
- Den Defense was a good addition, I think, but I was really terrible at it.
- Ezio's new robes weren't really bad and they fit in with the new setting, but they didn't quite feel like assassin robes. So I usually dyed them Masayf White.
- At first I didn't understand why the courtesans were replaced, but after I looked it up it made sense.
- The bombs were an interesting addition. I feel like they could be quite helpful, but I never really needed to use them.
