Zakros was an ancient Minoan town situated in the region of Pephka in Crete, Greece. Occupied by the Minoans in the 2nd millennium BCE, it was later abandoned and destroyed in the 15th century BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War, it was later occupied by a group of bandits.
