"I have traveled a long time, followed many roads and suffered much grief to find him. To learn his secrets before our enemies find us."
―Shao Jun regarding her search for Ezio Auditore.[src]

Shao Jun was a female Chinese Assassin. At one point in her life, she met and spoke with the Grand Master of the Assassin Order, Ezio Auditore da Firenze.

History

Early Life

Shao Jun was born an Imperial Concubine, but she was saved by her mentor. When he tried to save the other girls, he were too late. Thereafter, she and her mentor left China, as it was her mentor's wish to meet the legendary Grand Master Ezio Auditore da Firenze, they were, however, intercepted by killers sent by the Emperor and her mentor was killed.

Meeting Ezio

When Shao Jun found Ezio he was an elderly man who wanted nothing more to do with the Order and wanted her to leave. However Ezio's wife, Sofia allowed her to stay for a few days. The next day Ezio found her in his private study and furiously told her to get out. Outside she recited to him a text he had writen years ago, and told him she wanted to understand its full meaning. Ezio took her to the Palazzo della Signoria in Florence, where his father and brothers were executed. As they were returning to Ezio's home, they were attacked by a hooded man whom Shao Jun recognised as being an Imperial killer and killed him with the hidden blade she had at her foot. It was then that she told Ezio why she came to meet him. Later at home, Ezio told her his story and gave her some advice about the importance of love as a mean to keep the order together. Later that night, they were attacked by more killers, but they managed to defeat them. In the morning, as she was preparing for the long trip back to China, Ezio gave her a small box and told her to open it if she lost her way.
