The Richmond Terrace were eight private terrace houses which stood in Westminster, London, United Kingdom. It has since been replaced by a government building.

History

Built in 1822, the houses were designed by George Harrison to be opulent and heavily Greek influenced to attract the elite of London homeowners. By 1825, all eight homes were bought and occupied, notable owners being William Huskisson and Robert Townsend Farquhar. In 1850, the eighth house was purchased by the General Board of Health and became their main office.[1]
