Francis Bacon

Francis Bacon, 1st Viscount St. Alban (22 January 1561 – 9 April 1626) was an English philosopher, statesman, scientist, jurist, orator, essayist, and author. The Templars used and influenced his works, such as New Atlantis, to make science and rationalism flourish in society, in order to advance the Order's goals.[1]
Trivia
- It has been theorized that Bacon hid documents on Oak Island proving him to be the author of William Shakespeare's plays.[2]
