Footpad
- "Cutting through groups of people, he moves towards his target as silent and deadly as a snake. Quickly, he rushes to his victim, brandishes his two knives and plants them into flesh, as if they were fangs. The target fails, the crowd screams, but the Footpad has already vanished."

Trivia
- "Footpad" is an old-fashioned word for thief, but was replaced by the term "Mugger" in the late 15th century.
- It is interesting to note that, in the trailer showing the Footpad, he is seen perhaps stealing something from the Barber's waist, before becoming the target of the chase; not unlike the Pickpockets from Assassin's Creed II.
- In the Limited Codex Edition of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, on the multiplayer character card, there is a spelling mistake: "Cutting through groups of people, he moves towards his target as silent and deadly as a snake. Quickly, he rushes to his victim, brandishes his two knives and plants them into flesh, as if they were fangs. The target fails, the crowd creams, but the Footpad has already vanished."
- Strangely, the Russian translation of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood labels him as "Soldier". While calling the Prowler "Bandit"
