My cousin says the same about Connor's morality. He likes Connor because Connor's the most morally driven character, to the point where Connor's naivete initially leaves him blind to the various grey areas of the conflicts he takes part in (Assassins vs. Templars, Rebels vs. Loyalists).

He draws a parallel between Connor's character and the overall Assassin ideology. He states that the Assassin's goals are very morally driven, but also very naive.
