You seem to forget that Lafayette supported the French monarchy during the French Revolution and was also the leader of the Garde nationale. Connor is still a freedom fighter, and he wouldn't be supporting the crown alongside Lafayette, even though he and Lafayette are friends. What business would Connor have in France anyways? He would stand out too much as well.

If they are going to do the French Revolution in a game, it should end in 1821, with Napoleon's death. Napoleon should be a Templar due to his nasty imperialistic tendencies, and he still had an Apple of Eden. Connor would be 65 by then.

Also, as for his injury, he obtained his injury around 2 October 1782 while the game ends on 25 November 1783 (Evacuation Day). I have no knowledge of injuries and how long they take to heal, but take that for what it is.
