I've recently been reading Marvel's Secret Wars (2015) comic, an event which is there to reboot everything in the Marvel Universe. DC has also done this in the past and they came to these conclusions since there universes became too big and too confusing for most new consumers. So now everything in continuity is erased and is started anew. My question is do you ever think Ubisoft will reboot the Assassin's Creed series?
This wouldn't really be a problem if Assassin's Creed didn't have annual releases as there wouldn't be so much new story added to the universe each year, lets not forget all the other media they've introduced as canon such as handheld games, iOS & Android, short films, graphic novels and internet programs such as Project Legacy and AC Initiates. Over the several years it's just gonna get even bigger and bigger and Ubisoft might think the huge universe will turn newcomers off the series. I mean first you had the POE, then the First Civ, then the end of the world (2012), then Juno is evil, then you've got the Sages & Instruments of the First Will and that still isn't eveything thats been added.
So do you think it's possible that one day they restart the continuity again? If they did how would you want it to be? Would you rather they stick with the same characters such as Altair, Ezio and Desmond but just reintroduce them with a differently or would you rather that it's just totally new characters with a fresh start? <ac_metadata title="Rebooting Assassin's Creed?"> </ac_metadata>
