I would entertain the concept of an Ancient Egyptian story featuring Amunet, which would not exactly rule out later dynasties and could possibly elaborate more on the mythology surrounding the First Civilization.

But that being said, I would like the non-canon storylines reintroduced in a canon format, because it does seem such a waste to have these characters and then have to slap a big "these people aren't even vital to the main storyline" sign over them due to the nature of the published format. Aquilus, Accipter, Cuervo, El Cakr being examples of this.

Adding onto what I mentioned earlier, having Amunet as a Chronicles protagonist, in combination to putting a spotlight on the Egyptian pantheon of gods/First Civilization, it could also be a framing device for the Scepter of Aset in a more interactive medium and not some sub-canon plot in the Defali and Corbeyran comic series, maybe serving as a Piece of Eden in combination with the Ankh, since both of them are practically "Egyptian".

Also, when I imagine Aquilus and Accipter, the desire was more to bring them out of a semi-canon medium (one game featuring both of would suffice), and perhaps Ubi could explain away the giant plot-hole in seeing Aquilus' death from his own eyes, even though he had just conceived the next in line with Valeria; there's no way a sperm cell could have any recollection of Aquilus' memories post-emission.
